    ORANGE/CITRUS PEELS

    All purpose cleaner - take peels from 3-4 fruits and place in a sterilized jar. Fill with vinegar and cap it. Allow it to sit for at least two weeks. Strain vinegar from the peels, discard peels. Add vinegar to a spray bottle. Home-made all purpose cleaner! Simple syrup - in a pot on the stove, add peels from 3-4 fruits. Add water and sugar, 1 cup of each, and bring to a boil while stirring. Bring the mixture down to low heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Take off heat and cool. Strain the syrup into a jar and keep in the fridge. Discard peels.

    BANANA PEELZ

    Banana peels are perfect for your compost pile, but you can also soak them in water for an added nutrition boost for your plants. Also, I have seen peple use it for a replacement for meat! Click here to see a "bacon" recipe that uses banana peels.
